Track Chain Selection Guide

Use this checklist to identify a replacement track chain without relying on an unverified cross-reference.

Identification First

  1. Record the machine. Provide machine type, make/model when available and the application.
  2. Identify the current chain. Photograph markings and measure pitch where practical.
  3. Count the links. Record links per side or per assembly and note any master link arrangement.
  4. Check the sprocket. Provide tooth count, visible profile and dimensions or drawings when available.
  5. Check the shoe interface. Confirm shoe type and connection dimensions if shoes are included.
  6. Describe duty. Explain ground conditions, impact, contamination and the reason for replacement.

Avoid Common Mismatches

A chain that appears visually similar can still be incompatible if pitch, link profile, bushing diameter, sprocket geometry or shoe connection differs. Do not treat a brand or machine family name as a complete specification.

Best RFQ package: machine information + chain photos + pitch + link count + sprocket details + drawing if available.
