Track Chain Selection Guide
Use this checklist to identify a replacement track chain without relying on an unverified cross-reference.
Identification First
- Record the machine. Provide machine type, make/model when available and the application.
- Identify the current chain. Photograph markings and measure pitch where practical.
- Count the links. Record links per side or per assembly and note any master link arrangement.
- Check the sprocket. Provide tooth count, visible profile and dimensions or drawings when available.
- Check the shoe interface. Confirm shoe type and connection dimensions if shoes are included.
- Describe duty. Explain ground conditions, impact, contamination and the reason for replacement.

Avoid Common Mismatches
A chain that appears visually similar can still be incompatible if pitch, link profile, bushing diameter, sprocket geometry or shoe connection differs. Do not treat a brand or machine family name as a complete specification.
Best RFQ package: machine information + chain photos + pitch + link count + sprocket details + drawing if available.
